November 2025 Monthly Challenges

Acrylics (click here) : Different Strokes: this month’s theme is “Remembrance of Someone Past”, the challenge is to create a painting about remembering someone or more than one person — a remembrance of a family member, loved one, parent, spouse, sibling, friend, teacher, uncle, aunt, neighbour, or even a public figure or celebrity—anyone that you want to paint and bring back to memory on canvas. It should be a person (or persons), as the idea is to create a painting that is about a human person rather than an animal.

Watercolor Challenge (click here): Paint one of the provided photos in any style and size you’d like.

Animals & Wildlife (click here): Paint one of the provided images in an style, medium or size.

Florals, the Plant Parade Challenge (click here) : Paint one of the provided images in an style, medium or size.

Landscape Challenge (click here): Paint one of the gorgeous Autumn inspired photos provided.

OR for extra fun, you could join in this long running challenge in the animal forum (click this link)

The idea is that someone posts a piece of animal art and a challenge for what the next animal should be, for example the next animal should; have blue eyes, live underground, only eat leaves etc. Then the next person posts a piece of art of an animal in the same thread that meets that challenge and adds a new challenge. You are allowed to comment between the pictures!
