Why should I register?
Before registering, please read the message at the bottom of this page about an error on the registration page.
In order to fully enjoy the capabilities of the WetCanvas! forums, we require that you register as a member. Registration is free, and allows you to do the following (among other things):
Participate in collaborative art projects, challenges and other community activities.
Enjoy the reference image library (RIL). The RIL has 80,000+ photos which are free to use as reference.
Post new threads, start a discussion, show your work, ask for advice, comments or critiques or simply chat.
Reply to other peoples’ threads, help others out, make friends, and enjoy the company of other artists.
Receive notifications onsite to replies to threads that you’ve started.
Send private messages to other members and enjoy online private messaging.
To register, you will need to specify a username, nickname (mistakenly labeled as profile, see below) and password, and a valid email address.
Please note: On the Registration Page, there is a section marked “Profile“. That section should be marked as the “Nickname“.
The Nickname is the display name or member name that is shown on your posts and is public.
Please do not add a profile in that section even though it says “profile”
Please use that section to put a nickname that you want your account identified publicly as. It can be the same as your username if you’d like. Note: You can change your nickname at anytime but your user name is permanent.
Please use three words or less, plus your location (if you’d like). Using more may result in your registration being denied. Please do not use vulgarities or punctuation as your nickname. Please try to make your name unique enough to you that it’s not in common use.
Thank you and we apologize for the inconvenience
Please note: The final part of the registration process will be sent to you by email, so ensure that the email address you provide is valid and working.
Note: we do not currently allow registrations from new users under the age of 13 (COPPA). More information about this is available during the registration process.
Members under the age of 18 must have parental consent and guidance to use site. Artworks may contain nudes.
