Autumn Prairie is lovely…nice, mellow reds in that one.
I like the sound of your assembly line! Must be great fun to see several paintings come together all at once. Well done! Trail into Sacred Land is also wonderful. A textural delight for the eyes. Well done!

12×16 – big brushes- Chroma Interactive acrylics on 225lb heavy linen paper. Lots of greens in this and the objective was to generate a multitude of shades so it would not disappear into a boring blob of green.

http://painterofthesouthwest.blogspot.com/November 27, 2019 at 12:31 pm #734310I like the crisp clearness of Autumn Aspens. A nice, clean composition.
Mount Nemo, however, I like even better. It feels foggy and chilly, and I like the atmosphere of it so much!
Prairie Sundown Begins is so fluid. I love all these different affects you get with your paints. Outstanding!

http://painterofthesouthwest.blogspot.com/November 28, 2019 at 3:18 pm #734123The colours in Mount Nemo are really lovely Richard, I like this painting very much, such a nice green too. I am only making a mess with paint since going into the studio this week, never mind! Prairie sundown begins is so fresh and full of light, a happy painting!

http://painterofthesouthwest.blogspot.com/November 29, 2019 at 10:50 am #735203Day after Thanksgiving – started painting early this morning – it is a beautiful day, mid 80’s with a nice breeze and low humidity – my kind of weather :>]]
Gulf Storm Brewing- 12×12 Chroma Interactive acrylics – big brushes in a loose impressionistic style.
Desert Storm Brewing, – OR – Ocean Storm Brewing – 12×12 Chroma Interactive acrylics – palette knife in a loose impressionistic style. This can actually be determined by the viewer as to the scene being that of a desert or of a beach.

http://painterofthesouthwest.blogspot.com/November 30, 2019 at 10:51 am #734024You have been busy. All beautiful colors. I like the mini idea, I usually give a small painting or some thing when someone buys a painting. Nice. I like your colors in all. You did great with the greens in Mount Nemo. Applause.

http://painterofthesouthwest.blogspot.com/November 30, 2019 at 5:23 pm #734311Your Thanksgiving didn’t slow down your creativity a bit! I love both of these newest paintings. The brushstrokes almost mimic one another. They look like they go together. Beautiful work!
