Thanks for the fab refs Tyree! I didn’t get time to do anything last weekend, but back to it! ?
a pencil portrait (12B) on A4, somewhat textured paper – I’ve made his face rather broader than the photograph but a fun one to draw.
C&C always welcome!
I like it!

A tough looking hombre. I like the highlighted eyes which grab our attention. Nice use of your pencil and the textures work too.
C&C always welcome. Instagram harry.hamill
Very nice. I love his frown.
When I first saw it, I thought you had used charcoal since your darks were so deep. Your wonderful value contrasts make the whole thing pop.
Anne C & C always welcome. https://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/topic/wip-still-life-with-purple-underpainting/

I like your choice of medium for this one! He looks straight out of an old black and white Western movie His fro.wn and expression of the eyes makes me want to know his thoughts and what will happen next!
