Dear colour lovers, its a while since I painted and my brain is a little rusty.
I am starting from scratch with my colour theory so please forgive me for covering old ground and repeating myself.
Every time I read about colour theory I read that I need a warm and cool pigment for each primary. But I always struggle to know what the reason is in a nutshell.
could anyone be kind enough to simplify the answer for me
        regards to all

        What medium are you using?
