The pears are lovely. I know you paint soft and lovely, but the photo is also blurry, see if you can take a better photo. The angel is a bit kitsch IMO.

Being born places you at a greater risk of dying later in life.

Bill, I like the angel very much. BTW, do you re-work on old paintings of yours?.I have old works done in the past and I feel I could make them better by re-working them again.

I learned today that the pears had sold at the show.
Yes, I do rework old paintings.
I’ve lately come to realize that something made me want to paint that subject at the outset and if the painting didn’t turn out, it’s probably because I didn’t capture that original spark.
The spark lingers however and it’s worth trying ideas that might reveal it on your canvass.
