April 3, 2024 at 8:48 am #1544874Thanks Kay. It’s a trial and error garden. I have tried a lot of different plants and some of them survive and some don’t. I enjoy caring for them and watching them grow. Since I started painting I am also trying to learn how to take better photos.
Regards,
Cindy

"Painting is my meditation"April 9, 2024 at 6:02 pm #1545436Very intriguing idea!
I have been away from forums and art for a few weeks. We were away on holiday for nearly two weeks, getting back late April 4th. Not only am I exhausted by the trip (which was very nice), I caught a cold from Jerry and feel even more tired. We just don’t sleep well away from home, and the seas (we were on a Southern Caribbean cruise) were exceptionally rough and noisy at night. After we left the home port of Baltimore, a bridge collapsed and we could not return there. So we had to dock in Norfolk, VA and take coaches to Baltimore. Those that flew were taken to airports. Rush hour traffic in Baltimore, then snow squalls in PA on windy mountain roads in darkness. There is so much to do and unpack; I loathe feeling disorganized.

C & C encouraged!April 16, 2024 at 7:39 am #1545932Joy- good to see you back. Sounds like you had a stressful end to your last holiday. Hopefully all is going well now. The bridge collapse was terrible but the cleanup is progressing. May the lost souls Rest In Peace.
Hope you find time to paint one of my critters this month.

Cindy

"Painting is my meditation"April 18, 2024 at 10:52 am #1546104Hi,
One week left. How is everyone doing? I have one finished and am going to try for another. I hope this challenge isn’t “Bugging” anyone… ?
I always say I learn something new with each challenge. In my photos I had two Canadian Tiger Swallowtail ?’s. I learned the one with blue all along the bottom is the female and the lesser amount of blue is the male. In case you didn’t know, or if you wanted to know.
I’ll quit rambling now.
Regards,
Cindy
