One of the highlights of our trip to Lisbon last year was to visit a local restaurant/pub and listen to a group of fado musicians called “As Mariquinhas.” This week I painted this small 6” x 8” gouache and colored pencil painting of them

Oh, this is breathtaking! I love your use of color and movement to turn the entire thing into an adventure for the eyes. You also somehow managed to capture the pure depths of the singer’s soul. This is a masterpiece in every sense of the word.
