    This one was done on half of a sheet of 9×12″ Canson watercolor paper using Daler-Rowney Simply Watercolors (cheap tube set from Wal Mart).

            I like how you paintings seem to pull in two directions.
            They seem to make me sad and happy.
            Hopeful and yet depressed at the same time.

                This is a nice painting. I believe a little warmth could be added to the immediate foreground to enhance the distance of the woods. Too bad about the dark blotch as it’s very distracting. I would try to remove it. In order to do that, carefully dampen the area and then after a minute, press tissue/paper towel to absorb the moisture and the pigment. You may have to repeat the process.
