it on 18 x 24 canvas that I stretched my self. I like the home made stretching as it is a better canvas than store bought.

Overall it looks great – very ambitious. I’m a little unsure about the kneeling girl’s face and glasses. They seem off.

I think the ref photo will help .. Yes the kneeing legs is not the best and the face with glasses needs work and thank you
maybe just the hair line work is all it needs. I can be wrong

Very nice work. And yes, I think you should bring her hairline down. A girl would prefer a smaller forehead over a bigger one lol.

You’ve captured the mood and the feel of the piece nicely.
Besides the hairline, it looks like the angle of the jawline can be brought up a little. That will hopefully help the girl on the left. Her glasses also look a little small compared to the ref photo.

I like how you are able to adapt to different styles with your painting. This is a real “capture the moment” painting.

Tricky subject with two expressive faces at such angles. Looks good and you have a few useful remarks from some of the others. Looking forward to seeing the final result.
