        Stipple paper otherwise known as coquille board gives drawings a tonal texture.  Here is a pencil drawing of ‘Mermaid Madness’.  The paper color is due to the poor lighting in which the photo was taken.

        I hadn’t heard of that paper before. I use rough watercolour paper.

            Try stipple paper from Bee paper, (Amazon). It’s awesome.  If you like the paper, you can get it directly from Neenah paper company in Wisconsin.  Neenapaper.com In large sheets, in quantity.
