        HMHS Letitia enters harbour during WW2 later renamed Captain Cook. I did a previous painting of her as such

                                Never found paint on the bed sheets so put it down to ‘Quickness of the Brush’. Usually an afternoon 3/4 hrs.

                                        I’ve read there are some real hi -tech coal burning systems these days. My second ship ( London Merchant ) was a coal burner. Top speed about 8 kts
                                        Coal dust every where when we coaled ship. And I mean EVERY WHERE!.
