Mike 🍀🇮🇪🇺🇸July 3, 2018 at 10:58 pm #651706Randall, I really like the bug with the huge shadow. I see that as a background of a movie poster for the movie, “The Day the Bugs Overtook New York”.
Peter, That is a beautiful composition of the butterfly and the white flower. Both are so clear. Gorgeous.
Mikey,
Nice addition. That ant has a job to do and that is get that peony to open up.Photography is the art of observation. It has little to to with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. Elliott Erwitt

Me thinks your cell phone does a pretty good job.
Look at the clear capture of the piece of lint it caught on the back of the beetle’s rear end.How close to the wasp were you? They scare me.

I can’t criticize the phone cameras, having only for the first time recently had a phone with a camera that works.
I am currently testing the iPhone 8 against my existing Nikon D80 and Olympus TG-1. I may post results if the mood takes me.July 5, 2018 at 8:49 am #651697love the drama in this photo!
