                Mary,
I really like the butterfly with the watercolors, a fine composition.

Randall, I really like the bug with the huge shadow. I see that as a background of a movie poster for the movie, “The Day the Bugs Overtook New York”.

Peter, That is a beautiful composition of the butterfly and the white flower. Both are so clear. Gorgeous.

                    Mikey,
Nice addition. That ant has a job to do and that is get that peony to open up.

Thanks, Lorell. Reminds of the old flick: “Beginning Of The End” where the giant grasshoppers took over Chicago.

More butterfly? In this case a common brown.

and a Caper White, complete with ant in the back.

these are amazing! They make me want to get a real camera and learn how to use it!

more from my cheap cell phone:

                                Mary,
Me thinks your cell phone does a pretty good job.
Look at the clear capture of the piece of lint it caught on the back of the beetle’s rear end.

How close to the wasp were you? They scare me.

I agree about the phone. Super sharp on the beetle behind and the wasp.

I can’t criticize the phone cameras, having only for the first time recently had a phone with a camera that works.
I am currently testing the iPhone 8 against my existing Nikon D80 and Olympus TG-1. I may post results if the mood takes me.
