Here is a self portrait from a photo taken when I was younger. It is done with watercolor and charcoal and measures 10″ x 12″.

Well, although this is still a WIP, thought I would join in and post my latest self portrait. It is 14×11 oil on stretched canvas. I’ve titled it “Maybe Today.” Any C&C is welcome. Had a dry spell for a while and this painting was supposed to get the creative juices flowing again. I’ve never done rain on a window before so would love your comments about that.

Here’s my attempt of a self portrait.
40 x 40cm
The cameras picked up blotches which my eye hasn’t picked up. I swear it looks better in real life. I’ve used cheap sugar paper which has been hard to work charcoal with, but since this is a value study sketch for a painting it will suffice.
