Well, sunny and warm days are back with today’s high of 77.  Still have a boil water notice in effect, even for RO water.  No matter as my studio is still without it and I’m tired of hauling water there just to do watercolor and to use the restroom.  Yesterday had a full class of students who were very understanding.

Les is golfing and as soon as he is done we are heading to NM to check on things there.  Yep, still have their cafes closed but for carry out.  So more cooking for me LOL

Hope you all are doing fine today.  Our watercolor group’s annual show came down today at our museum with only one sale (I bought another artist’s sunflower).  But the show was dark all last week so in reality it was up only 3 weeks approx.

    Time to go :bye: bye!

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone down south is hanging in there and surviving ok.  I hope there’s some brightness coming back to you.

Hi Kay.  Yes, indeed, couldn’t agree more – people have to have reliable power, heat, fuel, and etc. to get through moments of crises, in addition to everyday life.  It’s just how it has to be.  I so admire you for holding an art club meeting in the midst of all the challenges you’re facing!  I’m sure it brightened up everyone’s outlook to get together and to paint and to just be.  Happy diversion and distraction are some of the most wonderful tools I know to help get through stress, pain, or troubles.  I hope you enjoy yourself in New Mexico!  I’m saddened to hear of such low sales in your watercolor group.  I just recently got my Hereford scratchboard back home from the Scratchboard Society’s Exhibition in Arizona.  Almost 70 original scratchboards from across the world were displayed and for sale, and just 6 sold over the course of 3 months.  So that’s a bit sad.  But I’m not too surprised.  Hope the warm weather continues for you!

Hi Jo.  How nice you got some breakfast out and I’m sure the staff was thankful for your visit and your tip.  Sketching in the warm car with the radio on actually sounds very nice to me.  Must have been a sweet escape for you.  Hang in there.  I hope things are improving for you all steadily.

We’ve had temps in the mid- to upper-40s and just such glorious weather after a brutal 2 – 3 weeks of biting cold temps.  Our beagle, Charlie, is one thrilled puppy to be able to play outside again and howl his little heart out in his happy beagle way.  Hope you’re all staying creative.  Hugs to you all!
