I’ve just reviewed a new pochade called the Cup Easel. It has two alternative setups, one for oil and acrylic artists and one for watercolor artists.

Please read my blog to see my opinion of it, and if you have used one please add your review comments too. You can also read the reviews that I and my students have added for many of the top pochades.

This is useful for anyone who is interested in plein air painting, or looking for a small setup to use in the home studio.

        Great review, nice blog too.

I have to admit, I really dislike the color of it though. I like that it’s a mid tone but to me it looks as if it’s moldy. I know it isn’t but I have the kind of brain that would be sidetracked by that.

It looks like it was designed by Freddy Flintstone. Very rough appearance.  Possibly useful to oil sketchers.

        Hahaha now that’s funny !!

But you’re right it looks a bit out of size to me as well.
Besides I still don’t know if a locked palette for watercolour is such an advantage.
