I went to the images library to find an image to work off of but all the images are either false color or inverted color images. Is this intentional or due to my device? Anyway, any advice on how to get a true color image from that library of source images would be great? Thank you!

If you can imagine it, you can create it!

The landing/first page of wetcanvas.com always has a nice image (this morning’s image is one of Doug’s photos of water lilies). Below the image is a thumb icon a viewer can click on to indicate that they like the image, and it works.

The issue is that if clicked to indicate you like the image, it remains that way for all images that follow, so one cannot selectively “like” something – the only option is to unlike.

Would be nice to have the “like” disappear with the image so the next image choice is neutral.

Skill is nothing more than talent practiced relentlessly.

Nice thought but the site design is a lost cause, there doesn’t seem to be a techie assigned to us.

This place is really buggy lately. Has it been hacked?

You just can’t get in the usual “front door” .  Basically you have to get in though one of the “back windows”. If you know what I mean?

I mean, its a good thing you placed alternative links to explore the site.

Otherwise I wouldn’t been able to enter and explore.

Yes the site has bugs from time to time but essentially it was badly designed and is badly maintained. It often takes a week for a bug to get fixed.

I feel they would like to abandon the forum, if so they should have left it as it was.

I’m trying to start a new thread in open critiques/works in progress.  It pretends its going to work, but the thread does not appear in the list and it doesn’t load images.  I realize this issue is probably all over the place but if this is where I’m supposed to report… here I am.

This is happening fairly often. We have reported it.

The posts seem to be going to the spam filter. I’ll check and move it if it is there.

No matter how many times I change my profile photo, it still shows my old photo next to all my posts and next to my username in the WordPress bar in the top right corner.

Also, the Palette Addicts thread seems to have a hiccup in that it shows there are 378 pages in the thread when you look at it in the list of threads in the Palette Talk section, but if you click the link for one of the last pages, it takes you to a reply page instead. Going into the thread by clicking its title shows there are only 296 pages.

Can you put your required avatar in your Media Filles in your profile then upload it from there?

Unfortunately, many threads were lost by a faulty backup when Golden Peak transferred the site to WordPress.

I’ve uploaded the profile picture I want to my Media Files, but when I go to the Change Profile Photo section, it doesn’t give me the option to choose a picture from Media Files, only to upload a new picture from my computer.

I did look at the Recycle option to select the photos as the photos I have attempted to set as my profile photo are there, but selecting them also does not seem to change the picture anywhere except on my profile page; in the forum, my posts still all have my old photo.
