OMG!!!! At last, at last, at last!!! All menu options now appear on the Google Chrome interface!!!
Yay!!!
Hi Patty, I find that with Chrome you have to go to the wetcanvas Home screen to use many of the menus.

January 31, 2015 at 7:49 am #519780A post disappeared from a thread I started. I’m really sad because it’s from a fellow artist I admire and his advice was very treasured. I go back to read it whenever I need to refresh my memory, and suddenly it’s gone today.
January 31, 2015 at 8:08 am #519532It would help to have a link to the thread.

We must leave our mark on this worldJanuary 31, 2015 at 7:02 pm #519781Thank you Yorky, here it is:

The missing post was from Kevinwueste on January 8th or 9th, 2015 and there may be a few more posts by others missing too.
February 1, 2015 at 2:24 am #519533I don’t see any sign of a post having been deleted in that thread. Sorry.

Thank you Yorky for your help. How strange, I still have this subscription email from January, yet the thread does not show it anymore. Perhaps someday the missing posts will appear again.February 1, 2015 at 12:13 pm #519534Did you ask Kevin about the disappearance?

We must leave our mark on this worldFebruary 1, 2015 at 12:28 pm #519783No, I did not ask because the post seemed to be there until recently, and I am afraid of bothering him. But thank you for your suggestion.
August 20, 2015 at 12:26 pm #519679It’s possible that the problem is on my end, but the threads in the Oil Painting forum have suddenly been listed beginning with the some of the oldest – starting way back in 2001. It’s odd though, there are others from 2007, 2014, 2001, all jumbled together in the first page listings. I can’t imagine how that would happen, but thought I should let someone know.
Edited to add: Whoops! :egg on face: Apparently I had clicked the “Last Post” header inadvertently, and that’s what did it. I will never get used to a touch screen. Apologies.

We must leave our mark on this worldAugust 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm #519653I’ve been getting the following error every time I initially bring up WetCanvas:
This has been going on for about a week now. For what it’s worth, I have Windows 8.1 x64, running IE11.
Anybody else getting this?

August 22, 2015 at 1:10 pm #519536Yes, it is appearing in Internet Explorer and is something to do with popups on the wetcanvas site, maybe one of the advertising sidebars. I think it can be ignored.

We must leave our mark on this worldAugust 27, 2015 at 2:58 am #519855The problem is that when I try to upload I get a message from WC that the image can’t be uploaded due to an error.
If I wait a few hours, it disappears.
August 27, 2015 at 3:03 am #519537Welcome to the forum Albert.
The system won’t let you upload until you have posted two text posts. This is an anti spam-bot measure, we were once flooded with spam images.
You should be able to use the uploader now. See the links in my signature for help.
