Got it!! I was using the insert image/photo but found the paperclip option worked instead. So all is good now. I used to use the picture icon years ago….but that must have changed, I haven’t posted an image in a while.
Cheers, Lori ZJune 24, 2013 at 2:08 am #519499I have reports that in Safari the uploader jpg file option is not available. Solution was to use Firefox.

We must leave our mark on this worldJune 25, 2013 at 1:47 pm #519720I’m getting advertisment links vertically down the center of every page. Why? It’s very annoying and prevents me from using the forum menu on top because it overrides and takes me to the advertisement every time. Grrrrrr!
I walk. I talk. I paint. I sing. I dance. I fall down. I get up. I do it all over again.June 25, 2013 at 1:51 pm #519603I was getting those vertical ads, too, for the past couple of weeks but now they are in a horizontal row above where they should be located.

We must leave our mark on this worldJune 25, 2013 at 2:03 pm #519721I’m using the forum jump at the bottom to get around the problem right now. It certainly would be nice if all these bugs could be fixed once and for all. Thanks Kay and Doug and I’ll see about downloading Firefox later when I have more time!

I’m having issues on multiple devices (including mac, pc, ipad, and samsung galaxy s3. The bug that I am dealing with is that whenever I click on a new section e.g. art journal forum, from any other part of wc I get logged out. I have checked all anti-virus/blocking software and have checked cookies as well as tried two different locations with wifi. The problem does not appear to be on my end. Has anyone else had this problem?Laura Roberts

Could be a cookie problem, try clearing your temporary internet files.

We must leave our mark on this worldAugust 10, 2013 at 3:26 am #519502IMPORTANT NOTE:
The site went crazy on 9th August – a database error/faulty server I would guess. Posts going in wrong threads/under wrong user name/wrong forum etc.
Hopefully things are going in their right place this morning.

We must leave our mark on this worldAugust 10, 2013 at 5:06 pm #519801The problems still exists today Doug.
Also on Oil Pastel forum, you can post comments but nothing shows up in the actual forum. Yet if you have the thread pegged so you’re notified of comments coming in, I got those emails but when I looked at the thread for the posts none showed up.
August 10, 2013 at 10:33 pm #519813Hm. Similar issue, here. Posted a couple comments, and they seem to have disappeared!
August 11, 2013 at 1:58 am #519503Same gremlis I’m afraid. Site is still going crazy.

We must leave our mark on this worldAugust 11, 2013 at 11:37 pm #519828I posted a painting on acrylics forum. When I checked an hour later it wasnt there. I was told to contact the administrator. When I did, an hour later the picture reappeared. I posted a comment on landscape but got a box telling me to contact the administrator. I didnt think the comment was divisive in any way. I seem to be wasting my time here. This is making me very frustrated. I’m relatively new to Wet Canvas! and have been trying to learn the rather complex system for posting and replying. I’m beginning to think that the problem is with my computer. It doesnt seem to be interfacing correctly with the Wet Canvas! software. Maybe I’ll be back if and when I can get an IT guy to help me figure out the system.
