I’m very sorry to have to tell you, that Ken sadly passed away last month.  He and I became friends here, on D&S and that friendship has lasted over 16 years.  He was so very special and such a kind, caring, generous, talented and extremely funny man.  He will be so missed.

        Jan. C & c's always welcome.

Oh My. I’m sorry to hear that. I have not been here in ages but just checking in now and then. He did much to help promote graphite work. :( RIP Ken!

That is sad news. I followed his posts and he always shared so generously. He seemed like both a talented and a lovely person.

                Peace

Janby, thank you for sharing the news although very painful , heartfelt condolences for this very painful loss to his family, to you, and to all his other friends, I am very sorry, it is a very painful loss,
I only met him through the forum but he has always been an extraordinarily kind and generous person, he was one of the most talented artists in the world and as a person he was worth even more, he made this evident through his every post, or phrase and through his incredible art. It breaks my heart to learn that in the same year both Ken and Davidhh (moderator of the forum figures) died, sorry for all their family members and for anyone who knew them, only consoles that their wonderful art remains, as a beautiful memory in all those who have known or appreciated them through the forum.
I appreciate so much every work of Ken, and it is incredible the generosity with which he made available to all his immense talent and his encouragement, clarifications, if I have been drawing for 6 or 7 years, I continue to try to improve, to learn to draw and even to be a human being a little more decent a lot is thanks to him.
I am very sorry that he has disappeared, I often think when I draw and the things written by him that I have read and I often remember it with gratitude, I hoped he was fine, Ken RIP

                    - C & C welcome ( comments and criticisms highly appreciated)
