Hi everyone :-),
I have seen some artists printing giclee on metal. Can that be done in an archival way, and if so how?
Thank you in advance for your help!
I have a friend who is a former oil painting student. He has prints of his oil paintings, and fractiles printed on aluminum panels. They are very marketable, but I have no idea of how archival they are. My guess is that they are at least as archival as the pigments of which the giclee’ printing is composed. Aluminum panels are nearly indestructible.
