    Welcome to April’s challenge …….

    Viva Magenta
    Pantone’s colour of the year 2023,
    Viva magenta is bright, pinkish-purple.

                Hullo everyone – Tuesday 25th April here in New Zealand today.

                I painted Dewi’s beautiful Amaryllis, in Atelier Interactive Acrylics. Unfortunately I made an awful job of the painting! So instead of inflicting it on everyone here on the Forum, Ive done a sketch in my sketchbook with PanPastels and pen & ink of an Amaryllis in my garden.

                Here is my version of the poppy. Watercolor 8×8 on 140 lb cold press paper painted wet on dry.  BBL to comment as I have two art shows to enter in different towns this morning :wacko:
