Beautiful Raj. I see you’ve given the painting a warm feel changing the time of day too. Due to backlighting the leaves might be a shade darker. For this purpose I mix some green with a tiny amount of black or as needed to darken my green with some mineral turpentine.

Most of that warmness came from my room light. So I took another picture this morning in the daylight, and the painting looks more like this.

Since raccoons are so common in my part of the world, it’s hard to imagine them not being everywhere. You’ve done a great job with the fur, the eyes, and captured that inquisitive little personality.
