Welcome to October!
All media and all skill levels are welcome to join in. The object here is to have fun, practice and to share. You have all month to do one, or as many as you wish. You may crop, edit, and even rearrange the images as you would like, change the colors as you see fit, take parts of one and add it to the other. You can work in any medium you choose. Please, tell us the medium, size and support you are using. When you are finished with your painting, sketch, drawing or even unfinished work, please post it here in this thread.
We all like encouragement. So please take the time to comment, even if you’re not posting a pic, on other artist’s entries but no critique unless an artist asks for one. Most are mine and artist friends’ photos.
Have fun!

October 17, 2023 at 8:01 pm #1529409Hi – Here is my take on the West Texas storm brewing. Powerlines were omitted, they are dangerous in storms. Acrylic on a 8×10 board. Cheers

October 19, 2023 at 11:29 pm #1529596Hi Folks
I’m not really “back”. I pop in here once in a while to see what’s happening. The members of the Photography section moved on to a new site a couple of years back. I’m surprised that WC has survived for so long.I enjoyed the WC Landscape group previously, mainly because it gave me a “license” to work on the images that weren’t my own. I was able to try out various things that I might not do with my own images. I actually learned a lot from the exercise. However, it did interfere with my normal workflow somewhat.
Right now, I have more than enough to do just concentration on my photographic activities.
regards – Peter
