Gouache BlogNovember 5, 2009 at 3:14 pm #505982I’m trying to catch up, but decided this will be it for October – I took the time to frame them all in black frames, no mat. They look decent – my fav so far is my last one, but I do have to confess I spent a bit more time on it as I was very unhappy with the trees (approx. 1 hour)

November 5, 2009 at 3:58 pm #505983November 6, 2009 at 5:42 pm #505998Finally got around to taking pics of my last two challenge paintings (from last week, I guess), and putting them in the little gallery grid that Charlie made. I won’t bother posting the larger versions of #15 and #16 to the gallery, but they are here:

Oops, goofed and repeated an image here… thinking snow too much, I guess. Now I’ll have to go look at my paintings again and untangle this. (Where is that head banging smilie when you need it?)

I have to confess – I am not going to continue with the challenge. I’ve found a new technique I am exploring and I want to move forward with that.
This has been most inspiring and this new technique has grown out of the challenge.
