I have started ….. I can see white, grey and black, so I must be on the right track!

    I left for a while
    Ran out of style
And now must search through the pile
Of references, greyscale, no colour but black :(

(Not good, I know, but Mary made me think…. a little!)

Actually, my hand kept cramping and I couldn’t hold the brush :( :(

    Cheers, Maureen

so sorry about your hand cramping!

        I like the poetry

Hand cramping – awful. I get it in my non-brush hand, probably because I keep an iron death grip on the brush wiping towel.

A painting is never really done as long as I can get my hands on it.

My tuppence worth is in the wings
No red pink blue purples or greens
            It’s not art that’s fine
            But it is all mine
            Don’t expect mountains and things

OK – so I step away for a few minutes and look what happens; medical issues (sorry to hear too) and poetry (although good). Back to work! Cheers

Well, the doggerel is wagging its tail, which is better than biting.

I finished my effort but have run into a problem. In the move I “lost” a vital electronic doodad that allows me to download a foto to the computer. Of course in a move nothing is lost forever. So I ordered another doodad but It won’t be here until next Friday. Not to worry, I’ll still be within the Oct 31st deadline.

The best way to find a thing lost like that is to buy a new one and open the package in such a way that it can’t be returned. Lost thing shows up right away.

lol Cliff. Or to be looking for something else, but you can’t purposely look for something else.

                    C&C always welcome. Michelle

Kay – you’re right – reveal day is 21st – but we have until the end of the month to post.:) …… so Jim should make it!

Another way to find something is to not look for it – mostly works for me though you can’t hurry it!
Of course, sometimes things just do disappear and cannot be found – in this house anyway :( ……. my sister blames these random disappearances on our late aunt, Mollie, who was something of a mischief in the family!

My hand still suffers from cramp,
If wet, I’d blame it on damp
But it’s been dry and sunny,
                    So it really is funny
And must be my brush, the scamp!!!!

I’ll be back at the easel this weekend – :crossfingers:

                    Cheers, Maureen

                    Yes, back to your easel
                    quick as a weasel
                    not driving a diesel
                    and don’t catch the sneezles

Our buddy Carl has set a challenge
To paint something based on Ansel Adams
To that we bring our several talents
And black and white paint — many gallons.

Now I have a poem with me in it….I am famous:)

                        Please pick up that brush
                        Don’t be in a rush
But we are in the crush
And sign it for that final touch

                        Cheers all

                        p.s. love all the poems
