For those of you who want an early start, get your thinking caps on! Ladders!
The country is having electricity supply problems again so I post when I can
The images are from pixabay. There’s a lovely lady who is quite busy with her graffitti!
Looking forward to your artwork!

November 16, 2021 at 7:18 pm #1446554I’m sorry to be so late in responding, but your skin tones on the large figure are wonderful, especially the glow on the bottom right areas.
The girl on the ladder has totally different skin tones which is a neat contrast. Love her face – very delicate looking.
How did you keep your ladder so straight ? The ladder shadow looks pretty tidy also!

I thank you with all my heart for all the challenges that you have led. You don’t know how much it was for me to follow your challenges _ oil pastels and also that of drawing and sketching ! Since March 2020, I discovered how it was important for me to draw and paint !
I am sorry to have missed some challenges but I was very busy with a new job. I hope well to find time for creativespark.art and to exchange with you and the people i have met on WC.
Happy end of year to you !
Amicalement, Sandrine
December 28, 2021 at 1:09 pm #1451240Dear Christel
I came back to the site after very long hiatus from drawing and painting. Just started to dabble again about 2 weeks ago and was hoping to come back for support and guidance, but looks like the site did not hold well in the last few years. I see that you still active here, and I am very thankful for all your effort and shared knowledge. Happy Holidays to you! Why was that the last challenge? I hope to see you again back on this or the new site when the moveover happens.

January 15, 2022 at 11:16 am #1453784Hi Christel!
Sorry for not being active in the latest challenges I haven’t painted anything for a over month though I hoped I’d make the time for painting…
Very grateful for all the activities, challenges and good advice you have provided through the years. You’ve been a wonderful moderator ❤ THANK YOU! ?? and I wish you and other oil pastelists a happy, creative and productive 2022 ??
I love oil pastels and have created a blog about this medium. While the blog posts are in Russian, still I invite you to get inspired with various artists' beautiful OP paintings in my blog's gallery: https://oilpastelist.wordpress.com/gallery
