Not a obscure match in the 2018 World Cup, but two very contrasting scenes painted in oil on board. Isn’t it amazing how different our planet can look?

        C&C welcome and appreciated.

Great color in both – the 2nd is my favorite – nice work!

Both very lovely works – I really like elements of both – the bold clouds in the first and the whispy ones of the second! Hard for me to choose a favorite!

I like the dramatic sky in the first, and the color-blast of the flowers in the second!

                    Wendy C&C always welcome

Great contrast here – the amazing sky and somewhat barren scene in the first vs. the flowery riot of color in the second. As you said – amazing the different worlds that exist right here on Earth!

Still much to paint and much to learn!

Both are beautifully done! The barren Iceland landscape reminds me of the two years I lived there. It was a treat for our kids to take them for a drive to see trees!

Thank you very much Mario K for your kind comments. And thank you too, Donna T. I have been to Iceland but only for a short visit. It is ineed a strange place and can understand your children wanting to see a more traditonal lanscape once in a while!
