Drawings and sculpture from the last two weeks.
A new model. He thought he had turned up to draw but the model had to pull out and he had already agreed to model in the future. These are 10 minute poses.
Long pose one hour.
A watercolour about 90 minutes. I tried to do too much and messed up the details but some things might be worth saving.
45 minute drawing.
A new model to us. Trying to simplify the shapes. 10 minute poses.
20 minutes each.
10 minute and 20 minutes.
One hour.
I’ve run out of sessions to complete the sculpture and it is nowhere near finished. In particular the head is too big and the features have not been worked.
Thanks for looking.
Nathan.
C&C always appreciated.

What happens when you run out of sessions to finish a sculpture? Can you keep working after the sessions? I hope so.

C & C is always highly appreciated!March 31, 2018 at 6:26 pm #594162Lots of good stuff again. All the linear ones are good and the watercolour works nicely. The large lady looks quite sumptuous to draw, lovely reclining pose.
C&C always welcome.

Mike thanks. The plus sized model was a joy to draw. She was also an artist so knew what poses to hold and held them well.
Thanks Harry.
Bethany thanks. Whilst I like the time to develop a drawing I do miss the 2 or 3 minute poses we used to have in some of these sessions.
Nathan.
C&C always appreciated.
