New to WC

Hello,
I’m new to the forum so still feeling my way around the labyrinth. I will find the right forum(s) for me soon I’m sure. Looking to develop my drawing and painting in my retirement and doing a qualification at my local University College. I live in Lerwick in Shetland which is a great place to draw and paint, even if he weather can be challenging. A lot of the time plein air often means plain freezing. I will post work soon and look forward to meeting others.

Come check out our Drawing and Sketching forum (link in my signature) where you will find all levels of skill ranging from beginner to pro. In addition if you feel you need or want more specific help with any particular aspect of drawing we have a Drawing Classroom where all the classes are free. Just pick what might interest you, read the initial posts in the thread which will explain what is covered and have a go with it. When you post your work an experienced artist will come along, review it and offer any suggestions or answer any questions. It’s all quite easy ..
