I am painting a series of watercolors that I plan to make into note cards to resell. At this point I am taking photos of the paintings and saving as jpegs rather than scanning. When these are printed onto cardstock, the “edge” of the photo is distinct, as the unpainted white paper of the photo in the image I’m printing is not the same color as what I’m printing onto. I need to get rid of this, in other words I only want the painted area to be seen on the card, and the white of the card to be the only background. My paintings have spatters, soft backgrounds etc. so they are not anything with a distinct edge. Can anyone help, I’m sure this is a digital thing. I own photoshop elements, no scanner yet altho I can get one if that is how it’s done? Help!
