Day 1 is done. Just started using this pen, a Moonman S5 with a fude nib. I like it. I can easily make fine lines and just turn it over for bolder lines.

    C&C always welcome. Michelle

It is fabulous, Michelle! I’ll have to look this pen up.

Here is my gargoyle for day one using STA Lictin brush pen over watercolor, and also day two is done for the prompt of ‘scurry’.  My studio is on Scurry Street so just imagined a mouse hurrying right along…using STA 0.3 pen.

Lol Kay – looks like the gargoyle is having fun at the mouse’s expense!

I forgot to mention that I used one the gargoyles from my collection for this. It’s a little one, just a few inches tall. I think it kind of looks like a tiger. I realized later that I should have filled the area between the legs but I rushed it and left it out. Ah well, this project is good drawing practice.

That’s a funny gargoyle Kay. He could be scaring the mouse lol.

    C&C always welcome. Michelle

Kay & Michelle — lovely drawings!

Here are my drawings using gel pens for the first couple prompts. They are just quick sketches given my schedule.

        Gargoyle

        Scurry

So good and fast inks of the gargoyle and the scurrying bug!

Here is tomorrow’s; BAT is the prompt.  I used STA Lictin 0.8 pen in Masters sketchbook…trying to stay a day ahead as we are going out of town this week.

Quick sketches are great Ozean! Love that scurrying bug!

Kay, nice one …. Beautiful eyes to make victim less aware of that ferocious talon!!

        Ozean, nice sketches.

        Kay, cute bat.

I think I spent more time changing my mind about what I was going to do lol. In the end I choose to do a 2 in 1 for scurry and bat. Uniball Signo on black Artagain paper.

It’s quieter on this inktober thread than I expected. I wonder if others will join later?

Kay — Fun little bat. Great crop choice.

Michelle — Nice combo and colors. I’m a fan of black backgrounds.

Here’s my entry for yesterday and today: bat & scallop

Nice Ozean, you also found a way to combine prompts.

            Here’s my scallop.
