This small hummingbird is imaginary after viewing many different photos online. Paint dripped on the paper on the right side near the tail, and I couldn’t eliminate it completely. Any solutions?

About 5×7 inches on mixed media paper.

        C&C welcome and appreciated

No expert here, but white gouache has usually been by stand by for “tidying up” problem areas.

        Hope this helps!

Try a Mr. Clean magic eraser. I like your iridescent colors!

Thank you, Sacandagalady and Bronzebow! I will try both of those suggestions and see what works best.

I’m really glad you like the iridescent colors, that’s what I was trying to capture. :)

Nicely done. Yes Magic eraser will do the trick.

                    Thank you Esther.

I tried the magic eraser and it worked! I had used pretty good paper so it could take some abuse. Maybe cheap paper would just fall apart?

I was prepared to try white gouache for anything the magic eraser didn’t get, but it wasn’t necessary, at least this time. But now I’ve got tricks in my arsenal for the next mistake. :)
