Paint Along 77: Harmonize Colors in Landscape Paintings

Painting from a reference directly and copying the colors will easily lead to a painting that will be out of sync. Think of an orchestra where all the instruments harmonize to play a melody. The same applies to colors in a landscape. After this workshop with Johannes Vloothuis, your brush will become that baton and you will direct the symphony of colors working in harmony. Three Saturdays. Three full painting demonstrations. All paintings can be done in your favorite medium.

    You will learn how to:

*Achieve clean and fresh colors during color mixing
*Control fugitive colors in autumn scenes
    *Create cast shadows that sing
    *Warm up snow in shadow
Represent waterfalls that belong in context
    Portray exciting clouds

    Benefits of this livestream workshop:

*Reference photos and drawing templates are available before each class so you can easily trace the scene onto your painting surface.
*You also have the opportunity to submit your painting for Jo’s personal suggestions.
    *Make personal requests for demonstrations
*The workshop suits all mediums and all levels, from beginners to advanced . Even though the demos are hand painted digital artists will benefit as well.
*You can paint along or watch as Johannes shares painting techniques and professional secrets, how to mix pleasing colors, and answers student questions on the spot.
