    I recently painted some adjustments to an older still life. There is deliberate bending of perspective.

        I like this very much,well done on the glazed pot with lovely reflections. I do find the white patch behind the pot distracting though & I reckon it would look more pleasing if you painted this out.

            Sandie, thanks for looking and commenting. You have noticed something that I missed. The very light patch behind the bowl is a napkin that matches the center cloth. It and the center cloth used to be bluer. The pigment has faded. I am going to adjust both.

                Your interest in how light falls is very apparent in this painting. All the angles and shapes are making a very strong composition.

                Being born places you at a greater risk of dying later in life.
