        Hello, all

I’m hoping someone can help me solve a problem I’m having putting paints from tubes into pans.

A couple of the pans I’ve filled skin over, kind of like a pudding does, as they dry out from me using them. That might be inevitable, but one of them has that same gooey stuff in some of the rest of the pan, not just on top.

This means the paint re-wets unevenly, and when I’m painting I run into – and sometimes pick up – a wad of gooey paint. I’ve even dumped a wad from one pan into another.

It seems to be a problem mostly with American Journey, and the worst offender is Joe’s Yellow.

Is there anything I can do about this? I’ve tried mixing it thoroughly with water, even mashing the paint up. I still have those wads/strings of gooey paint.

        Thanks,

        Amerie

        Change your brand I think.
