Brilliant mini of the cyclamen Tyree. I know its the bird ornament, bit it looks like a bird from the last seabird project has crept in….some continuity!! Ink and wash is one of my fave combos!!

Great ink & wash Susan. Very nice painting!
Love the comp, colors, agree with June about the seabird. :)

Made me realize, I have a cyclamen that survived the summer
and re-potted her last night. She’s happy this morning.

                    Clematis.

Pen, wax resist, watercolours. 10 by 7 ins, cheap paper.

Practising my negative painting for the leaves.

My problem with watercolours…I need to develop patience!! I find it difficult to wait for the paint to dry:lol:

Susan, nice go……..love it, the bird and flowers are conncected by their form somehow and the red and white just makes them flash alternately….hah, ha….friends are the best thing….

June – the clematis are definitely extraverted flowers….with the red stripe, shameless beauty…..

Hope I can get something down….

June you are killing me with the too impatience for the watercolor to dry. LOL
Lovely, and as Robin said, extroverted clematis, they’re lively and beautiful.
