Do you sell your watercolor paintings or just paint and hide.  Or give away?

If you sell, on what venues?  Online/own website, online/Etsy, Amazon or similar venue?  Local markets or fairs?  Travel and sell at markets or fairs far from home?  Galleries?

Me?  I’ve given watercolor paintings as gifts and the past few years I’ve been using some as holiday cards (printed on my dinky little inkjet printer as well as some, hand painted, on watercolor cards as original art).

Do you matte your paintings or deliver them sans matte or frame?

Asking this here, in Explore Media › Watercolor, rather than  The Art Business Center › General Art Business because  I’m interested in Watercolorists’ responses specifically.  If inappropriate, please delete rather than move.

I do, currently only at a local cooperative gallery.  I’ve been thinking about selling in an Etsy shop but haven’t done that yet.  Does anyone else sell on Etsy?

I have some acrylic paintings in an Etsy shop.  Actually sold one!  ?

There are some shops that makes some good money there, but I think most starving artists don’t get desert very often.

A few years ago I saw this guy selling his paintings at a gas station out of the back of his truck.  He said he didn’t even ask for permission.  It was pretty funny.
