Virginia – Thanks. I’m doing better healthwise as I learn to manage things better. It’s a frustrating struggle that I think will last a while. At least I was able to paint some!

I have my outlines drawn. I will be doing 4 minis. I haven’t painted in so long I forgot to draw the first one on a separate piece of paper lol. It will be easier to paint the backgrounds first and then transfer the drawing.

Michelle, I can certainly post the miniature butterfly with my ‘correct’ one. Yes, it’s only a 3” piece!

Im sure the cold we are experiencing is killing off our butterflies … my cabbage whites have not been seen this past week. ?☹️

I have an idea. It’s ambitious. If I go for it, it’ll require a large canvas and lots of time.

I should probably go simpler because I haven’t used acrylics in a while. Somehow I feel like my idea might work better for me in pastels or colored pencils cause I use those more often.

I’ll see how ambitious I feel once the acrylics are unpacked.

I haven’t started it yet cause I’ve been so busy. I’m hoping I can at least whip up some concept sketches to share. I think I want to do a little series of three with butterflies as the theme and the same shaped canvases. I had one visualized, but now I have two of them pictured in my mind. Just got to think up the third. I can picture them displayed on a wall together and am hoping I can put that image to canvas.

I dug out a sketchbook to hopefully sketch out my ideas at least. I can always share the final results at a later date.
