That’s a lovely miniature Ozean … colours of sunset are very nice and interesting combo ( I don’t know if bats flit around at the shore either! They do flit around my garden!).

    Cheers, Maureen

            Ozean, very nice work!

Here is acrylics added to my ink sketch of the ‘bouquet’ prompt that I paired with a cowskull earlier in the month.

Kay — I was hoping you’d add color to your “bouquet.” I really like how it turned out! Great choice of color palette.

Thank you to everyone for the kind comments on my painting. (And, Maureen, auto correct at least chose an appropriate word…I’m sure that the bats do “glut” themselves at times as they flit around. ?)

                Lol Ozean!

Kay, this is so pretty, I’d rather like that on my garden wall … a skull filled with flowers!…. It would freak out the neighbours!?

                Lovely, delicate work.

                Cheers, Maureen

Ozeanbay – This is beautiful.  I really like how you did the clouds – great colors.

Kay – Your skull/bouquet is great.  Lovely soft colors.  I too was hoping you would paint this sketch.

Ozean, both the drawing and the painting are very nice!

I was also hoping Kay would paint that one. Lovely!

                        C&C always welcome. Michelle

Wow, finally had to time to sit and take my time looking and what a treat!

Christel: Your bat and hawk are beautiful. I literally said Wow! out loud when I saw them.

Cindy, wonderful sketches. It’s so great to see how you sketchthink. Love the final painting. We sold our RV last year and I’m kind of regretting it.

                            Sheila, barf but cute!

Michelle, that purple works so well with the lighting. Your pumpkin is luminescent. And that green glow on the bricks is amazing.

Colin, what great style! It looks like a Group of Seven version of a gargoyle. Very cool!

Jim, love your bat’s face especially. That’s funny that they didn’t count them as an animal. They’re wonderful animals. They eat so many bugs.

Carl, that’s great! I’m from Niagara so it made me laugh, that would be a big big uh oh, where I’m from! Really clever idea!

Maureen, those are both wonderful. The colors are so dramatic, I like it!!

Kay, stunning as always. I don’t know how you managed to make a skull beautiful but you did!

Ozeanbay, at the Peace Bridge between Buffalo, NY and Fort Erie Canada, you can sit on the beach and watch the bats. They all live under that huge bridge and at twilight, they come pouring out. It’s really cool and I had forgotten about it until I saw your beautiful bat beach! Really enjoyed looking at it.

I’m still planning on painting one! Should be done by the end of the week.

Nice paintings . Very clever play on words and themes.

Kay —flowers and a skull. Very seasonal. Beautifully drawn and painted.

Do we have some one lined up to take on the November challenge?

                            Any volunteers?
