Merri—sorry to hear you had a technical difficulties with your painting. Still plenty of time, so I hope you get another chance to have ago.

Mine is emerging from the canvas. There is now some blue and yellow. So,that part of the challenge has been met.

I will get there some how with my version(s), maybe . Pretty bad right now. Maybe some mood music by Green Day, Yellowjackets, or Blue Oyster Cult would help?

Well, I just put paint pen to board so there may be possibilities.  It’s going to be very loose though but remembering the life of VanGogh, loose flowers may be just the thing!

Paint pens may just save the hobby for me.  I can go from loosely doodling with ink to doodling with paint pens and still remain chill.  Too bad there are limited colors of acrylic paint pen but I do have loads of different acrylic tools to play with.

Yes, music might help. Donovan’s Mellow Yellow might do the truck. Or Elvis’ Blue Suede Shoes

Ah well, I guess I’d better post mine – sunglasses to the fore please ……….. you wanted blues and yellows? ……

Nicely done Maureen, so vibrant!

And Rose got 2 done, very nice work on both. They make a good pair with the similar colours in them.

Here’s mine, can’t resist a landscape. 10×8″ canvas board.

I notice now the darks are much darker on my screen. It’s a little softer on the real thing.
