**Please note, the single ‘reveal’ date is chosen so that we do not influence each other with our individual interpretations ……that’s the whole point of it being called ‘Different Strokes’!
By all means ask questions in the thread or initiate discussion about the challenge – just don’t post images!!!

Edit: Many thanks to Fedetony for allowing us to use this challenge again; there is so much potential here that we could just about spend the next year working from this alone!! Charlie’s Mum

December 2, 2019 at 6:33 am #913483Just bumping this to the top because, having copied Fede’s original opening post, it still has the September date!
Plenty here for us to ponder and I’m sure Fede wouldn’t object to the inclusion of a little reference to the season!!!: lol:
Thanks Fede!:) …….
…. and for a good laugh, see Colin’s version of a very seasonal song at the end of November’s challenge thread
Cheers, Maureen

I do keep one Christmas thing out all year, a painting from Dianna, it’s too nice to put away.

Forum projects: Plant Parade projects in the Florals/Botanicals forum , WDE in the All Media Art Events , Different Strokes in Acrylics forum .December 14, 2019 at 2:33 am #913520I am halfway there, trying to get it completed before the heat rocks in.
Acrylic and heat do not like each other. At least our weather bureau gives us fair warning, still all we have to do is watch what the West is getting, and then we follow Perth mostly.
I have to say, with this challenge, same as last time, It takes more time to put something together than with most of the challenges.
This challenge looks easy, but actually it isn’t.!
Maureen, I know you can do amazing in a very short time. I echo tinalewis.

December 14, 2019 at 10:14 am #913500I’ve been working on a couple of gifts most of the week, finally almost done with them. I plan to at least get a reference photo taken today. And I’m trying to decide what size to go with.
C&C always welcome. Michelle
