:grouphug: :grouphug: Char :grouphug: :grouphug:   Thinking of you and sending big blue butterflies your way.

Hot, hot and hotter this week.   I am hoping that the humidity is less though.  Just from the rain yesterday it made it the second wettest summer ever.  But wait!  There could be more!

I have had a terrible reaction to the pneumonia shot.  Covid shot was a piece of cake compared to this.  Oh well, I’ll get over it.

        Love and hugs to all,

        Kay

            Thanks Lynn.

Belated happy birthday to Anita’s Keith.

Kay, I had a terrible reaction to Prevnar 13.  I am glad that I do not have to get that one again.

                Back again

Well I painted just a little bit & I know better than to buy paint before I swatch a sample at home. However due to me not driving I’m stuck on the weekends when Keith can take me where I need to go. So I think the paint color is too Yellow looking. It is a cream color but yellow based white. I will wait till Keith comes home to see what he thinks. If he also thinks so then I’ll get a couple of samples to try before we paint the whole room in something I don’t like.

A  minor problem I know just frustrating.

Gail —Good to hear from you. Glad that you will have help in dealing with that paperwork & decision making. I would have to have someone help me too.

Well folks back to get into something else today.

                Take care

                everyone,

I tried to get on here earlier but I got a 503 error.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Char and family :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:  I’m so sorry you and your family have to deal with that news. Sending all my warmest wishes and hugs. Words fail me.

Im glad I got the grass cut yesterday. I pulled something in my hip at the gym and I’m going to take it easy. I just finished lunch and I’m going for a shower and then I’m heading to the dollar store to find something for the boys to decorate with the alcohol inks tomorrow.

There has been a flock of Sparrows flitting around the pond every morning trying to figure out how to get at the water. I’m going to set up a shallow birdbath for them beside it.

I’ll check in later. I have to get the windows closed because the temperature is climbing.

Doug, close call, glad it wasn’t worse.  The tiniest dent can cost thousands these days.

Anita, our entire house interior is painted in antique white from Benjamin Moore.  It’s a nice cream color.

Ellen, I pulled a groin muscle a couple of months ago and it’s taking forever to heal.

                        Hi All,

Drinking my tea and eating my frozen banana treat while I catch up on what you all have been doing since my morning visit.

Our trip to the Base went well. Everyone is wearing masks and practicing staying separated while shopping in the Commissary, so it was pleasant.

Bill, I usually am awake at 5:00 a.m., so sleeping in until 6:00 a.m. the last two days has been a welcome surprise. :D

Char, I was so sorry to read your probable diagnosis. I hope and pray they have developed treatments for it over the years that will stop its progress and help you get better than you have been these last months. Your Wash friends are surrounding you with love and healing vibes, for sure.

                        to all,

                        SYL,

                        Sylvia

                            Back again!

Lynn~ yes, we x-posted!  Stay cool.  It’s wonderful to see pictures and experience the memories of past visits.

Anita~ most paint stores have large paint ‘chips’ (sheets) you can put on the wall to see the color variation in different parts of the room.  They are 12×12, I think.  Better than the tiny chips.

We used Simply White by Benjamin Moore at the cottage, but some rooms in our home are Linen White, which is a yellow white.  Check out Pinterest for some wonderful whites to go on.  So many choices—good luck!

Nancy~ I hope you shook off the grogginess.

Gail~ can you get a financial advisor or CPA to help sort things out?  It’s not easy to manage investment accounts.  I would be lost, so I’m glad we have someone we trust.  Doing our own taxes is bad enough!

Doug~ that wasn’t a great way to arrive home.  I’m sorry you have a ding.  It’s embarrassing for her—I hope this won’t affect your friendship with her.

Hi Kay, Sharon and anyone I’ve still missed!!

Sorry to see that, Kay, if it isn’t one thing it’s another

                            Hi Carol!

I expect you enjoyed your garden visit QS :)

                            Love that rose, Sharon.

Frozen banana treat sounds very interesting, Sylvia :)   I just had my non dairy Magnum treat out on the hot balcony, glad to come in but nice to get the fresh air.

I just set out to take tucks in my favourite summer lightweight jeans, and then I remembered that the Paralympics is on TV…..just so impressed with our Senator Chantal Pediclerc, a marvellous wheel chair track athelete who is commenting on her involvement as Chef de Mission of past games and helping with the broadcast.  Must make sure I get up and do something else soon :wink2:

I got a couple of pulls when I started back exercising, Ellen, that’s why I went my physio, and then I got another and decided not to try so vigorously yet.  I have postponed regular visits to him till I done the basic exercises longer.  I hope you recover from yours quickly.

                            Cheers, Lynn

We are at the mall chilling and che king our phones.  I was able to find bralets at Lane Bryant. And U got new walking shies like John’s that are light weight but give good support.  Now I am ready for Vegas.

By the time I got to the mall, I had to take a pill for anxiety.  The four yeas of the former guy, the pandemic, the 1/6 attack have taken a toll on my nerves.

Off to get more walking i. before we head home. We already ate our dinner.

Anita, our entire house interior is painted in antique white from Benjamin Moore.  It’s a nice cream color.

That is the exact same colour my interior is painted including the ceilings.  I got the brand that just uses a dollop of black and a dollop of yellow.  I love it and the house looks fabulous, and cheery, and inviting.  It works with my richly coloured polished floors.  The first time  used it, was in another house I owned.  It was Dulux and they also put a dollop of red in it.  It looked fine until the light/sun hit it and then it turned pink.

                                Pretty roses Sharon.

                                Hugs everyone
