Good morning. Slept my 7 hours and finally woke up refreshed. I do not have to go anywhere until next Wednesday when I have my CT Scan.
John and I headed up to Oklahoma around 11:30 a.m It was foggy the whole way there. Arrived, got our usual buttered popcorn, and walked to the far end of the casino. We met up again two hours later, and compared notes. We both had lost half the money we brought without any big win. We decided to cut our losses and go eat lunch and head home.
As we drove out of the parking garage, the rain started. By the time we got on the access road to the highway, it was raining so hard we could barely see out the window. Thank goodness John missed the entrance ramp. We then pulled into a parking lot and sat to let the heavy rain pass by. My iPhone saved the day. I was able to watch the storm overhead and determine how to get back on the highway. Once we crossed the state line, we had clear skies all the way home.
Annie, I could picture you and Roger at that exact moment! So great that Roger is able to make you laugh again.
Adena, Sorry to read that you are going through a rough patch physically. I seem to get one problem solved when another one crops up—it’s an old age thing. I bet you cannot wait until you can pick up your new puppy!
Hi to everyone, I need to go eat breakfast. Today, I will straighten up the house, and then get back to my studio.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge."- EinsteinDecember 8, 2022 at 9:52 am #1494610Some sun today, and still above freezing I’ve been diddling about this morning, did get the rest of the cards ready for the mail yesterday. I’m finding this round of chemo more difficult than usual, just not getting much done so I’m not going to try! Naps are good.
Just started thinking about what Christmas baking I’ll do next week, it is here too soon!
((((Char))))
Duckweed can take over, eh, JJ!

((())) to everyone that is under the weather!
We are slowly getting some decoration’s up for Christmas and some outside lights, just on the main level!
I have been busy with a lot of medical appointments and cardio tests in the last 4 weeks, so I am taking it slow! I am on all new meds and more tests coming up in a few weeks. Apparently I have 2 partially blocked veins in my neck. I was able to put my membership at the pool and gym on hold for 2 months!
Adena I bet you are looking forward to the new pup!
Take care everyone!
