Hi Everyone:wave:
Uschi have fun with your son tonight :grouphug:
June thinking of you :grouphug:
Has anyone been watching the Genius, Pablo Picaso? I feel like have been living that life, Mistress after, Mistress, after Mistress!
I need a nap!
If the magic is with the artist, then the magic might also be possible for the observer!

June 23, 2018 at 10:29 pm #645756Nancy, I use an electric nailer to install baseboards now. I remember the tedious task of predrilling, but no more. A $100 Ryobi nailer is worth the frustration.

June 23, 2018 at 10:41 pm #645769I liked that those small camper vans can go anywhere a van can go, unlike the larger RV’s. They are a little cramped but you can use them as your main vehicle if you like. The only thing I didn’t like was the price… something approaching $100,000 was way to steep for me and the price for used wasn’t much better.
Uschi, sorry to hear about your blood tests. That’s so frustrating.
Doug, I have considered an electric bike and may still get one. Riding a bike would be good and having an assist when you need it would be great.
Watching the Houston Astros play into extra innings. Long time Astros fan (I remember when they were the Colt 45’s). They are looking like they could repeat as World Series Champs. Lots of fun for an Astros fan.
Took the Prius to the body shop. Can you have Prius withdrawal? Maybe it’s just that I despise driving my sons little Neon so much. Thankfully I have a friend who has an extra pickup he doesn’t use and is going to let me borrow for a couple of weeks.
Always learning so C&C invited and always welcomed
TomJune 23, 2018 at 11:45 pm #645768Nancy….I used 3/4″ MDF for my baseboards….6″ high, then I put a piece of cove trim on top of it and a quarter round at the base to finish it off…..looks just like a hardwood base, but way cheaper. Even used it on the casing around my doors and opening. I would sand the cut edges and then coat them with gesso and sand them again…..smooth as a new born baby’s bottom. By sealing the cut edges with the gesso, there was no swelling when painting them. MDF is wonderful.
Tom…I’ve been an Astro’s fan since I was in grade school. At that time they had their spring training camp across the river in Cocoa and my dad would pull me out of school at least once a week to go watch games…….I remember watching J.R. Richard on the mound and watching batters cower in the far back corner of the box hoping that he wasn’t wild that day…..loved those days.
Going to call it a night…….until tomorrow Amigos….
