Morning all…
Wordle does have a number – try sharing it after you have completed it (not copy and paste) and you will see the number.
Go to the Wordle archives and you will see.

This is a screenshot of what I shared with a friend yesterday.
It’s nothing to do with how many I got on each line.

February 19, 2022 at 12:19 pm #1458974You can see how late we came to the game.
Uschi, the plum tree was here. It is quite small and we only got about 5 plums off it last summer. John fertilized it last winter. Will be interesting to see how much we get off it next summer, it might need a rest!
We only have the one plum tree, doesn’t need a mate.
Thanks Ellen for the time and effort you put in to keeping us informed.
@Joy
Gosh Sharon, I sure hope you are feeling better soon!

February 19, 2022 at 12:29 pm #1458978Not much time, I decided to let son come down, don’t know why he would want to, cold and nasty wind blowing the snow all over the place.
re yesterday’s opening of the Miami Ballet’s Swanlake , lools like the people there are very compliant!! http://Once there, attendees were treated to easy entry, thanks to the well-orchestrated Covid-19 protocols in place. Checks for proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test were smooth and pleasant, and attendees were uniformly compliant in wearing masks throughout the evening.
JJ, yes here too!
Doug, aahh, so that is what the numbers mean, in that case mine were 1,2,5
Char, wonderful suggestion from Doug, and how nice that would be BUT, you KNOW me and if it was me I would continue to struggle with the hand so I wouldn’t lose all muscle and dexterity BIG HUGS!!!
Steve, good for you
Hi Nancy, Lynn and Bill!!

Nope, read my post, when you get time.
Why wouldn’t your son visit? He loves you and your company, no matter the weather. Smile.

February 19, 2022 at 12:38 pm #1458984This is my. War at all. Oh, I’m going to have to auto, correct? Anyway, Doug, I am trying and so far it’s not the greatest, but I’ll work on it.
I hope Everyone gets a chuckle from this! My breathing may be an issue. It is fun and I will keep practicing.

February 19, 2022 at 12:50 pm #1458987I think we would make allowances Char. When I used it I didn’t bother too much with capitals and I didn’t work out how to make a capital H. I’ll try again.
I I’ve just put it on speech recognition now how do I do capital H, ah well it put a capital but it also put capital right there must be a technique. To get a full stop, or, oh right if I say or, it doesn’t write, It handles new sentence is okay no not sentence’s sentences. You just have to be clear with your speech. So to get a full stop you say it same to get a coma that should have been double em should it be 2 m’s right now my grammar Lee is picking up the misspelling so I need only to click them to correct them I think it’s quite good.
I don’t use the word Lee archive Lulu the one I used has no number.

We must leave our mark on this worldFebruary 19, 2022 at 12:54 pm #1458988Doug, it’s exactly the same as what we are doing. The NY TIMES one. Use the share button once you complete it and you will see.
You don’t see the number until you share, just like Char and I have done above.
The archive is all the previous ones that have already been done.
I went to the archive and did 245 again – the one I did yesterday (NZ is a day ahead) and already know the answer – and got this:
Wordle 245 1/6

February 19, 2022 at 2:52 pm #1459007This from CNN news:
Be kinder than necessary
February 19, 2022 at 4:27 pm #1459018Doesn’t seem to be borne out in the stats, especially of the triple vaccinated inthe UK, and not here yet either, but, accurate or inaccurate, tbh, I am more worried about what Mr P’s intentions are for Europe than catching Covid.

February 19, 2022 at 4:36 pm #1459019Bill – I don’t rely on news outlets for information. Their purpose is to get viewers and they can get the information wrong or cherry pick information. Did they give the researcher’s names and credentials so I can look up the papers? I don’t watch CNN.
I got all my jobs done today to my own surprise. I reinstated my gym membership and I’m going tomorrow. I did more de-cluttering finding 62 more items I can divide between my sister, donations, or the garbage.
Brian called the insurance company to get the ok to replace the windshield that cracked after being hit by a rock from a passing semi truck when we went to Sudbury. They said we have a $500 deductible plus it counts as a claim of our fault on the insurance unless we got the license number etc from the truck. How is it our fault? They did say we might lose use of it for a day and we are entitled to a rental. Gee – thanks. They also said we have to take it to a repair place in either Sudbury or Rouyn in Quebec. Both are over 3 hours away and would require an overnight stay. They finally agreed we could do it in our dealership in town. I think he is bringing it in on Tuesday.
I’m putting my feet up for the evening and watching something mindless on my iPad. I hope you can all get a refreshing night’s sleep.

February 19, 2022 at 5:52 pm #1459022Hi all,
Finally got all the laundry put away. When I do a big three-loader wash I usually put the folded jeans in a clean garbage bag because they take up too much room in the laundry hamper. Also they’re heavy. I also put all the sweatshirts in another bag. That allows me to carry them up the stairs separately. But then they end up sitting on my dresser in their bags until I get around to them. Cleaned the bathroom and watched the end of a movie I started yesterday plus another one this afternoon. And. Wordle in four.
Movie I watched this afternoon was wonderful. It was called “King Richard” about Richard Williams who had two daughters you might have heard of by the names of Venus and Serena. Stars Will Smith. I didn’t even recognize him. I am upset though that the actress who played his wife wasn’t nominated for anything. She was wonderful.
Lynn I just had to laugh. I tried freezing half the batch, but when I finished the first half, I simply defrosted the other bag and ate those too. Glad you like them. They are nummy dunked in your morning coffee. ? I’m so glad your sessions have been reduced.
Ellen that’s crazy about the windshield. What, they think you threw a stone at your own windshield in order to crack it?
Doug, QS, Joy I’m glad you are all safe from the wind. Gusts up to 122 miles per hour!?!? We had gusts here, but they only reached 50 mph. Hope Mike is okay.
Char I like your War at all.
Uschi I hope you had a lovely afternoon with your son. Glad people complied with the protocols to see the ballet. News outlets make it sound like Florida is the land of the lawless.
Lulu you could make plum pie or crumble. With a side of vanilla ice cream.
JJ the Valentine’s dinner looks lovely. Real estate prices there sound like Los Angeles.
(((( Sharon))))
Steve glad you and the checker gave him the “eye.” I would love to have been there when Jamal walked up.
Well, time for olympics watching. Need a break from videos.

February 19, 2022 at 9:31 pm #1459035Kay, love that idea. I have frozen heaps of plums for desserts in the winter. For now we are eating what is left raw. This morning I ate two plums and a mandarin before breakfast, the mandarins seem to ripen all year round.
I wonder if you remember Ann Elizabeth who used to be a frequent contributor to the Wash a few years ago? Her recently married daughter-in-law, Ashley, has directed a short 14 minute movie called Forgive Us Our Tresspasses and it was released on Netflix on Feb 17. Well worth a watch.
