Kay, you have a very good hospital! I was lucky when I last had major surgery that my sister came and stayed with me for the first week…she had to get the prescriptions filled for me.
I pinned that shawl out with THREE cats! They are rarely this close together but for some reason they all had a huddle on the bed with me and were taking turns grooming each other back in October. Willow is 5 and the brown tabby; Leo is the tuxedo who was feral (still feral with all humans but me). Leo loves Willow, but he was driving her crazy. So about 18 months ago I got Oscar, the Orange. Oscar was a magic kitten … he wrestles and rough houses with Leo, and he is gentle with Willow. Oscar relieved 98% of the tension between Willow and Leo so now those two get along as well (mostly. Leo is like the boy who pulls girls’ pigtails in school…he wants Willow’s attention and will pounce on her and hear her hiss and growl to get it).
