Hi Everyone:wave:
Thank’s to everyone one your lovely comments on some of my front flower beds, much appreciated 10 years in the making.

Doug your garden is beautiful!!!
Char of course you can use my tree peony pic as a reference:heart:
I spent the entire afternoon at the hair salon ( have not been in about 20 years, as I usually cut and colour myself) getting a trim and colour… getting ready for my 65th birthday this weekend and my sister, brother in law and my son are coming over tomorrow and we will go out to celebrate at the Keg for steak and then to the sulky race track, which I have not been in about 40 years. My actual birthday is not until Sunday, June 3rd., but we will start to celebrate tomorrow. My sister wanted to go to the casino, but I am not a casino kind of gal, she is!!!
We are just heading out to one of my favourite greek restaurant’s now in Peterorough!!
Have a great one!

June 1, 2018 at 6:22 pm #632633Morning all….dare i say it is Saturday here…..don’t do my head in again please Doug lol
To work early so i can have a brisk walk before starting. The ‘stodge’ from last night’s dessert feels like a lead weight….was being hospitable in making and eating it too but i dont know how anyone can eat such stuff on a regular basis.
Brought my breakfast to have for lunch lolBiking with a friend later this afternoon.
Have a good weekend.
Lulu
Proud to be Kiwi!
June 1, 2018 at 6:40 pm #632656Well….the deck railing is done…….just in time. About an hour after I finished it started raining off and on. About 14:30 it let loose, we had about 2″ of rain in about and hour and a half…definitely won’t need to water for days.
Lisa is feeling much better, she finally got something down around noon and it stayed down. Tonight will be Wonton soup from our favorite Vietnamese restaurant…they use smoked turkey in it with fresh vegetables and it’s fabulous. Will probably pick up a couple of movie from Redbox and chill the night away.
Adios Amigos….until tomorrow….sleep well.
Steve.

June 1, 2018 at 6:58 pm #632654Just checking in again.
Set up an appointment on Tuesday to get my car windows tinted. It is a definite must do in Texas. Then drove up to the dealership. The two things we ordered did not arrive, so they were ordered again. They should be in next week. Our salesman was upset for dropping the ball. When we come in to pick them up, he is going to fill the car with gas and give the car a good cleaning.
Then we headed to the Mall to the Lego store. The release today was a model of a Bugatti sports car about a foot long. Only $350. We just laughed and said no thanks. We also did our walking. Came back and stopped at Walmart for a few things. I picked up three more cotton knit a-line short sleeve dresses. Perfect for this 100+ weather. Then we went out to dinner. Now I am doing laundry.
Steve, So glad that Lisa is feeling better. We could sure use a heavy rain here, but we have clear blue skies. Sprinklers will go off tonight.
Lulu, We never eat dessert. Around 8 pm, we will have a tiny snack of cookies or popcorn.
Sharon, Happy Birthday. Have a wonderful celebration.
Kay, That all your tests are passed with flying colors.
Have a wonderful evening. Tomorrow is the egg show and then a graduation party.
