        Thanks so much Ken…. yes the positioning of the cloud was to subtlybring the the viewer back into the piece itself. Thanks for noticing. I pushed the play of light against dark in this as well for added impact.

            A wonderful place to be! I really like the beginning of the painting the start of the track that leads into the painting, it looks quite muddy and well trodden. It is such a beautiful painting John, well done!

                Thanks so much, yes I really textured the area at the forefront ( some knifework there) and added in a touch of water and mixed vegetation into the scene.
                Thanks again…this was a fun one to paint up.
