Compartmentalization

Hi, it’s been a while since I’ve dropped by. Here’s one from a while back. It is an oil on linen 18×24. Do you think that the name “Compartmentalization” is a better name or “Pi O’clock.?” Thanks for your input.

Really admiring the skill level here…..those mysterious darks and the light done…just so !  I am useless at titles, and I like them both, but I find “Pi O’clock” easier to say and a bit more intriguing.

Thank you very much DupliKate. (Clever name by the way) Also, thanks for your suggestion. I think that I’m leaning that way. I’ve had a fascination with pi for a number of years.

Fine painting!  Is this from life or photo ref?

I cannot work from life in low light due to eye problems

Hi Patrick,

Thanks very much for your comments. Yes, it is from life. I understand about eyesight struggles. I use natural light. (north) Maybe you can find some artificial lights that will closely replicate natural light. I’m not an expert in that area, but I’m sure there are people on here that are.
